Eligibility Requirements: The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Sabanci University, invites applications for a faculty position in social and cultural dimensions and politics of science and technology. The position is open as of September 2010 to mid-career candidates as well as candidates who have recently completed their Ph.D or are near completion. We seek a scholar with a strong publication potential and excellent research record, good grounding in the philosophical debates in science and technology as well as social and cultural theory, and a desire to contribute to an interdisciplinary scholarly environment. Candidates must be committed to high standards in teaching general introductory courses as well as more specialized, upper level courses.
