Important Note:

Please note that current year (2012) membership in HOPOS is required of all those who attend or present at the conference. You will be asked to register at the conference if you have not registered in advance.

Were you a member/presenter for HOPOS 2010, or are you unsure whether you are already a member? Go to www.journals.uchicago.edu/hopos to renew your subscription or membership. Under "Manage my account," click the "Log In" link in and sign in using your username and password.

Are you unclear on what your username and password would be? Search your mailbox for the address "subscriptions@press.uchicago.edu" and "username", or contact the customer service department with any questions at subscriptions@press.uchicago.edu or by telephone at (877) 705-1878 (toll-free, U.S. and Canada) or (773) 753-3347 (International). Customer service is available Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM U.S. Central Time.

If you want your delegate package to be ready when you arrive, please email the completed registration form and mail it to hopos@dal.ca)

  • Online Registration (credit cards only-you will receive a confirmation by email a few minutes after registering and will be contacted by email by the organizing committee about your menu choice if you have opted to attend the banquet) (Note: If you are using Explorer, you must have Javascript turned on. If you are experiencing any difficulty, please email us at: hopos@dal.ca)

Support for students: HOPOS provides reduced fees for both HOPOS membership and conference registration. Additional support for travel is also available to all registered students and some independent scholars through the auspices of the U.S. National Sciences Foundation and HOPOS. The amount available to each student cannot be determined in advance, and will be provided following the conference. To take advantage of this opportunity, please have receipts on hand and see Ed Slowik at the conference, or contact him at eslowik@winona.edu
