Getting to NTU

The main campus of Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is located in the southwest region of Singapore, near the Jurong West Extension area. The NTU campus is easily accessible using public transportation, such as buses and the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system. The MRT stations nearest the NTU campus are Pioneer Station and Boon Lay Station. Both are a short bus ride from the central area of the campus.

From Changi Airport (SIN), those visiting NTU can take the MRT (East West Line) directly from the airport to Pioneer Station. The MRT ride is approximately 80 minutes. A taxi ride from the airport to the NTU campus will take approximately 30 to 40 minutes and cost roughly SG$40-50.

The address of the School of Humanities is 48 Nanyang Avenue, Singapore 639818

For those traveling to the NTU campus by taxi, it may be helpful to provide the following guidance to the driver:

  • To reach the School of Humanities building from the Pioneer Road entrance: Turn left at the entrance onto Nanyang Crescent. Continue straight as Nanyang Crescent becomes Nanyang Drive. Pass the Yunnan Garden to your right. Then turn right on Nanyang Avenue. The School of Humanities is the large white building on the right side of Nanyang Avenue.

  • To reach the School of Humanities building from the Jalan Bahar entrance: Turn left from Jalan Bahar onto Nanyang Avenue. Go straight on Nanyang Avenue for a long way. You will pass through two roundabout intersections and go up a hill. The street will curve to the left as you pass the Nanyang Business School on your left. Eventually you will reach the School of Humanities, which will be a white building on the left side of Nanyang Avenue.
