(If you are unsure whether you qualify, please email the HOPOS Executive Secretary and supply your name, the country in which you work, and the academic or professional institution (if any) with which you are affiliated.)

Approved scholars will receive a free two-year membership in HOPOS that would grant them electronic access to the HOPOS Journal for the duration of the membership. These memberships can be renewed twice (for a maximum of six years of complimentary electronic membership).

To apply, or to submit a request for renewal, please email the HOPOS Executive Secretary: [1] Your current CV, and [2] An explanation (of no more than 1,000 words) of the professional benefits that you would gain from a membership in HOPOS.

Applications and requests for renewal will be reviewed on a rolling case-by-case basis by the HOPOS Finance Committee. They will aim to communicate a decision to applicants within 8 weeks of receiving a complete application.
